Our Athletic Program provides opportunities for Middle School students to acquire skills, experience leadership, and grow personally.
All students in grades 5-8 are invited to participate, and to learn to balance Academics, Athletics and the Arts. Our goal is to provide a positive experience for our students on the field of competition.
Good sportsmanship, commitment to the team, and the development of skills and strategies necessary for athletic competition are essential to a successful athletic experience. We believe that it is imperative to foster respect for self and others, honesty, integrity, commitment, reliability, and perseverance. The values learned through interscholastic athletic participation at NAPS will help individuals become more productive members of society and create lifelong learners.
Students in Grades 5-8 are eligible to join our Middle School Sports programs. We offer:
FALL
Boys Cross Country
Girls Cross Country
Coed Soccer
WINTER
Boys Basketball
Girls Basketball
SPRING
Coed Tennis
If your student-athlete plans to participate in any of our athletics programs, a current PPE form (Pre-Participation Physical Exam) is required before participating. The form needs to be uploaded to our Magnus system. All student-athletes must have a current physical exam and signed clearance from their doctor to participate in our sports programs. This annual physical exam needs to be current, or less than one year from the end of the sports season in which they are participating.
Additionally, all student-athletes are required to complete the MS Athletics Registration & Waiver form. This form should be emailed (or hard copy delivered) to Coach B at dbathras@napschool.com.
